Jenny's Way - Pt. 06

All the offices at LabRoot were dark. The last employees had long since gone home and the only sounds echoing through the pitch-black corridors were the gentle creaking of the building's air conditioning system. That is, except for a soft light emanating from a single office at the end of the main hallway. This was the office of a young woman named Jenny, who was the company's Operations Officer. In the hierarchy, Jenny was only third from the top. None of the big decisions made at the company were made without her explicit input. Jenny was both respected and feared for her position and personality. Tonight, however, was different. Victor lay comfortably across the black leather couch under the office window. Outside, the sky grew increasingly dark as the Sun slowly dipped over the horizon. He held Jenny's phone in his hand and opened her messenger app to send a text to Jack. "Candace fucked up another project I gave her. I'll be home later. Love you, -J." He ...

Jenny's Way - Pt. 05

"Are you okay?" Jack asked as Jenny quietly spun her fork around her pasta. She had said very little at dinner and Jack could see that something was bothering her. "Is the food not good? We could try something else." It took a moment, but Jenny was startled out of her trance by Jack's questions. "What?" she asked blankly. "You sure you're okay?" he repeated. "You seem very distracted. Something is bothering you." "No, I'm fine." She took a bite of her dinner.  "It was just a rough day at work is all." She wanted so badly to tell him what was happening to her. If anyone would be sympathetic to her feelings, it would be Jack. But she couldn't say anything. As much as her heart wanted him to know that she was suffering, the fear of what would happen if Victor found out was much more palpable. "I'm sorry, I'm just really tired." Jack shook his head in understanding, "I get it. Today...

Jenny's Way - Pt. 04

Jenny was fascinated by Emma's gaze and expression toward Victor before she left the house. Hours after she returned to work and had settled back into her regular routine, she couldn't get the look of pure ecstasy on Emma's face out of her mind. The image was frustratingly burned into Jenny mind. She wanted to forget about both but regardless of the activity she chose to distract herself, her mind always returned to Victor and Emma. "Fuck both of you," she whispered to herself as she sat at her desk and filtered through a nebulous assortment of spreadsheets and productivity charts. It had been two years since Jenny had ascended to Operations Manager for LabRoot, a small medical laboratory company that processed tests for employers, courts, and other clientele. LabRoot was a lucrative operation that netted her more than a comfortable wage. When combined with her husband's earnings, Jenny never worried about money. She had a great job, a beautiful home in an aff...

Jenny's Way - Pt. 02

Jenny sat crying uncontrollably on her couch in the dark. The last few hours had been beyond horrifying and now she was trapped. She played the scenario over and over in her head and it got worse with each replay. Why was this happening to her? And what could she do to get out of it? Maybe she could offer Victor some money. Maybe sex? He had stolen her panties, after all. Maybe she should offer herself to him and he would leave her alone. All of it came to a horrifying and disgusting crescendo when she realized that the antidote, she’d drank at the coffee shop was just a vial of Victor’s cum. How could he be such a disgusting pig and trick her like that. But he was right about the sickness. Drinking the vial had taken away the sickness symptoms and had even formed a mild sense of euphoria in her. Did she enjoy it? Of course not! She shuddered at the disgusting thought and cried even harder. It was getting late, and her husband would be home soon. How was she going to face him? Surely, ...

Jenny's Way - Pt. 01

Jenny wasn’t sure when she first felt sick, but she knew that it struck quickly and with the force of a moving train. She had been working at home when an overwhelming sense of nausea brought her to her knees. A series of brilliant light flashes filled her head, and she had no chance to maintain her balance. Jenny fell to the floor and shivered uncontrollably for what seemed like an eternity. The fog eventually cleared, and she was able to pull herself up into a chair. “What the hell was that?” She took a tissue from the table and dried her eyes. Mascara was running down her face and smeared across the tissue as she worked to compose herself. As a 35-year-old, healthy working woman, she’d never had anything like that happen to her before. She took a few deep breaths as her equilibrium slowly returned.  It was just after her vision fully returned that she noticed the strange envelope sitting on the table. It was tucked in with the rest of the day’s mail collection. Generally, it loo...
